Today a review about a free to play game ^^ yes yes I said it ;) it is free to play. Also it is another visual novel from sakevisual. I already did a review on Jisei from them. But this game is a free to play visual novel.

The story is about a high school gamer girl names Marui. She is a fond player of Rivenwell online and spent many hours in it. So it is not that weird that she gets angry (really angry) when some idiot steals a rare item from her. Now she has one thing to do.... yes... take revenge ;). But who is this idiot? She only knows his in game name: Alistair. Well ... nothing to do about that... she only has to find the real person behind Alistair. That person could very good be at her school. Will she find him? Get good grades? Make new friendships and maybe a romance? You will have to play to see ;) .

Then the characters of this game.

Marui,

A short tempered girl who get’s angry easily and want’s to get revenge at Alistair. She loves to game and especially the game: Rivenwell online. 

Shiro,

An easy going boy who is really silent in class. He doesn’t have many friends probably because he is really shy. He has a lovely warm personality. 

Derek,

This is your typical popular boy. He is handsome and very popular with the ladies. You can find him most of the time at the baseball grounds.

Travis,

The glass wearing guy. Most of the time he just sits behind his desk working at his computer. He is very strict but means it good and always wants to help you... well... maybe not always.... he is a little bit hard to understand =.=

I liked the music of the game... well most of the time XD after a playing all the stories it can be a little bit annoying ;) but ... that’s not a big deal, I mean you don’t have to listen to the music. You can just enjoy the game without it ;)

Well what to say about the graphics except that they are amazing for a free game 0.0 Seriously they are just great. I wouldn’t think this was a free game by looking only at the graphics.... But it is 0.0 awesome right. They even made a bonus chapter ;) So you can enjoy the whole game ^^ And the CG’s are really nice made ;) Yes there are cg’s 0.0 awesome right.

The game is easy to play. You only need your computer mouse ;) and the game system is also easy. It is a status raising game so to get your dream boy you have to raise different stats. So discover them all I would say ;).

Well this was just a little review, I know it was short but all I can say is that you should really play this game. It is free so you got nothing to lose right ;) Just try it, it is great. I am a Koala and I like it ^^

Gish review

Hellow Koala people another review today with video ;) 

Yeah finally another video ^^ woohoo... well not the most happy video because at some point at the game I got stuck ... and got frustrated XD But what to dat about it :$ I’m just a koala right.

Well this game actually has a stroy ^^ yes you wouldn’t think so but it has. It is about Gish, he is not a human... well he is not anything actually =.= he is just a black ball of slime.. yeahh really sticky. Well he has a friend ^^ but not a black ball of slime no he has a female human friend ^^ ... They were walking in the park when suddenly she was kidnapped 0.0 yeah I know scary... and as every loyal friend would do Gish is going to safe her.

The graphics of the game are nice ^^ They remind me of world of goo... well because of the black slimy ball :$ But this game had a more cartoony feeling more like it is all drawn and less 3d animated as world of goo is. That’s not a bad thing because I still love it the way Gish moves. I always like it when the body of a character fluently moves and Gish does that ^^ so that’s a great thing about the game.

Then the music. Well there is not a lot to tell about it. It has a theme music and there are not a lot of sounds that I remember of. But the theme music is nice ^^ if you love jazzy music. It is really easy going so I understand if some people don’t like it but for those who love that kind of music it is perfect ;)

Well the game is not to hard to play. This is the first game I reviewed in which you doesn’t need to use a mouse. In this game you use your keyboard. Mostly just your arrows but also a few other buttons like: a, s and d. And probably more but I can’t say that for sure ;). In the first level you get a little tutorial how everything works so you don’t have to remember everything I say :P

The game is great ^^ even if I got stuck for a little bit teehee (a) and got a little mad (a). But after that I got the hang of it ;) and now I like it XD Yeah you can convince me really fast :P

This time another visual novel ^^, I have been to busy the last few days to make video’s of other games so here is another written review about another great otome visual novel. It’s about the awesome game: (P)lanets! It is a free game to play and made by just one woman. So I have a lot of respects for this game because it is just an awesome game 0.0.... I won’t let you wait and start writing ;)

One of the strong points of the game is the story, it has a story with a few plot twists (which I always love). 

The story is about a normal girl named Marin. She is just a normal lazy girl who doesn’t do anything in school.... but still gets high grades. Well she thought she was normal... until... she fell from the stairs and hit her head. The next thing she knew she woke up inside the nurse’s office... Well at first nothing was wrong, but then she discovered she could hear the thoughts of all the people there. And believe me you don’t want to hear people talking in you head all day long. How did this end up like this? Well when walking home after a painful day she met Kaius and he gave here a solution. She has to go to a school for phsychics names: (P)lanets. What will she discover at this school? Will she find answers? Or even love? You have to play the game to see ;)

Then the characters ^^ there are a bunch of fun characters in this game with a nice background story so here is a little summary of them.

Marin,

Well I actually already told you about her XD ... She is a smart girl who doesn’t work hard at school and sleeps during classes. After she fell she can hear the thoughts of people around her and now she has gone to a school for psychics. And met a bunch of great people there.

Kaius,

He is the boy who came to pick up Marin to go to (P)lanets. He has a short temper so he gets mad often. When that happens his eye colour changes... but he never uses his psych (a psych is the power someone has). But why does he never show his psych? And why does he always have lessons alone? Hmmm a lot of question. For all we know he is a mysterious boy who doesn’t like to talk a lot about himself. And is a bit of a loner.

Ryuu,

A carefree boy who likes to tease people. He is one of the reasons for Kaius is angry issues. They get in a lot of fights the two of them. But it never has come to beating the crap out of each other... well until now.. He doesn’t attend a lot of classes because he doesn’t find it worth it. You can often find him on top of the school building. His psych is teleportation, but he can’t use it a lot... what is the reason of that?

Lucan,

This is your typical shy boy ;) with long beautiful hair and a friendly aura. He says sorry a lot 0.0 but Marin does to so that causes for a lot of fun interactions :P. He is also one of the school idols... every girl loves him and they follow him every where... Hmmm a little scary.. I that normal? Or is there another reason?

Haruhi,

This is Marin her best friend. He is a cute playful boy ^^. Yes I said boy XD I know he looks like a girl but that is because he just loves to dress like one. He has a very happy personality and always wants to help. He almost cried when Marin had to go to (P)lanets :( so sad...

Ruiko,

She is Marin her roommate. She is a little bit weird... but you get used to that and normal people are just boring so it is really nice that she is weird :P . Her classmates are sometimes bullying her.. but she doesn’t want to say anything to the teacher because she doesn’t want to cause trouble for anyone. She is just a really misunderstood sweet girl.

The graphics of the game are nicely done ;) alright they are not like always remember me, but this is one person and I think they are great for her first game. I mean they are beautiful not just nice but beautiful ;) they give that anime feeling to the game and keep you interesting. You can see that there has been a lot of work put into the cg’s and it was worth it because I love to review them in the game library. 

The music of the game is simple but also gives a nice feeling to the game. I get not irritated because of the background music so that is a good thing... because most of the time a get irritated because of that =.=... grrrr ....

Jisei review

Hey blog readerssssss ^^,

Today I’m going to talk about a visual novel. I don’t know if you are know with that type of game so here is  a short explanation. A visual novel game is a game where you can make choices to get a different ending. It is actually a kind of book but then in game format, with beautiful anime like graphics and music which fits the game. Well that’s actually a visual novel. And you have different kinds of them ;) this one is a mystery visual novel with a little bit of fantasy.

Well the story is about a boy named ??? ... yes that’s his name: ??? . You don’t get his name in the game, which is also a mystery. Well about ???, he has the ability to experience the way how people die... yes not the most happy gift you can get. This means when someone dies he feels it too, how it happens but without the dying. With this gift he can solve murders... but this is actually his first case. Well the story begins when he woke up in a coffee story, he feels sick and wants to go to the toilets. But when he goes he sees a woman lying on the floor and feels how she died... and this is how to story begins... You have to play it to know how it ends... And I want to tell you.. you really want to know how it ends.

The story is really great written and the characters too, they really fit the story and are not randomly thrown into the game. It is an intriguing story which keeps you interesting in the game till the end. I didn’t want it to end.... but unfortunately ... it did :’( .... whyyyyyy

Well I have already told you a little bit about him, and I don’t want to spoil everything so let’s just keep it with the basics. He is a boy who is wandering for the past 3 years.. why? Well just play the game ;) Ohw before I forget... he has the ability to relive the death of people who are at close distance from him or who he touches... Yes he touches dead people =.= I know.... please I don’t want to answer to this...

Chance Jackson,

At first glance a really nice girl ^^ .. She only has a few angry issues... but who cares right ^^ teehee. Well she works at the coffee shop where the crime takes place and dreams to be a famous singer.. So please don’t insult her singing voice 0.0 just don’t....

Jennifer Bergstrom,

This is your typical business woman, well the stereo type actually ;) She is often described as someone who is always in a hurry and you really don’t want to get at her bad side 0.0. Well what to tell about here... she has a short temper and is very serious and strict. She doesn’t like to be in a murder investigation.. probably because she is in a hurry =.=

He is the cop ^^ yes yes there is a cop .. woohoo not al hope is lost (a). But the off thing is .. he is off duty 0.0 .. yes I know what a coincidence, how come he is there at the crime scene but is off duty. Hmmm such a mystery. Well he is actually kind of nice ^^ well except he wants to hold you for 48 hours a few times... but who cares right XD... .... .... Well... I do actually T.T

Kizaki Suitani,

This is your typical college boy ^^ well... he looks like one XD I don’t know what a typical college boy is like (a). He is a really nice and shy person... seriously shy 0.0 I mean seriously. He claims that he comes here all the time (at the coffee shop) ... but nobody ever saw him. Hmmm curious... indeed... 

Well I really really really loved the graphics ^^ I mean seriously.. so good 0.0 I like the anime/manga feeling of the game. The characters are really well drawn and look professional. Even the expressions look nice ^^ you can’t say that in every visual novel. There are a few cut scenes and they are also nicely drawn ^^ teehee I have nothing bad to say about the graphics... I seriously love them... really... really... 0.0 please learn me how to draw like that 0.0

Alright to the music then shall we ;) Hmmm I think the music which played at the background really fitted the game. It’s kind of eery at the right times and nice and relaxed at the other times. I like the eery music at the murder scene ^^ and when the case get’s exiting ^^ so nice... and then there sometimes is a screech and your shoulders are just going to the sealing XD and then you have a flying koala XD.

Also a nice thing about the game is the use of voices ^^ .. yes yes all the lines of the characters except ??? are spoken. And the voice actors did a great job ^^ it was nice to hear them say the lines .. that way you could really get inside the story and enjoy the game. So that is definitely a big bones point ;) 

Well I think I annoyed you enough with my talking (well writing but talking sounds easier XD ) so my last tip is to play the game ^^ It is really worth it. If you like thrillers and visual novels (or just books and games) then you are certainly going to enjoy this game. I am a Koala and I really approve this game. So I would just say... PLAY THIS GAME ^^

Bad Piggies review

Hello Blog reading People, Nice to see you again ^^

Today a review about a sequel of a really popular game... yes yes bad piggies.... you bad bad piggies. Well now serious... The game I’m going to review is bad piggies ;) You probably already know angry birds. Well this time it is up to the piggies to take the spotlight and have their own game. 

You really shouldn’t compare the game with angry birds because it is seriously different ;) I mean you are not going to throw piggies at birds... no seriously you are not 0.0 I know it is a huge shock 0.0.......  But don’t be sad ... you can still blow the piggies up ^^ hihi yes you can are you now happy ^^ well I am (a).

Well there is not really a story about the game. The piggies are stranded on an island and you have to collect little bits of the map to lead them to other places. Yeah I know ... a little bit silly.. but if you remember angry birds didn’t have a great story either, it was the gameplay which had you playing for hours and hours and hours.

Then the game play... well it is pretty simple. Like the other games I have reviewed until now you only have to use your computer mouse. You have to drag and drop different parts to build a car... well something what looks like a car. After you build the car you have to drive it to get the stars and after that ... well most of the times it just explodes and you get more point XD yes.. I know pretty funny. 

The graphics look exactly like that from the angry birds series... simple but captivating ;) .. I always thought the game art from the angry birds series was pretty cool ^^ I mean it is simple yet it still gets people to buy more merchandise from the stores. Well I can’t say more about the graphics then that... I mean.. the graphics are the same as the graphics from angry birds ;) 

Hmmm then the theme music... I must say... At first I didn’t like it. It is seriously annoying at first...  I mean I couldn’t get it out of my head 0.0 but then I thought... well I can’t get it out of my head... then it has to be a good theme song because theme songs are supposed to stick into your head. And now I can play without irritation ^^ yeah rock on I would say.

Zen Bound 2 review

Hey blog reading people who aren’t koala’s nice to see you again.

This review is about a different kind of game then I normally play. It is about Zen Bound 2. I have made a little video play through so you guys can see what the game is like. 

Well the goal of the game is to wrap a piece of rope around little pieces of wood. Yeah doesn’t make any sense I know ;) But when you are busy doing it... and you start wrapping... well it becomes really relaxing and addicting. It is a game which you can play for a long time without knowing what time it is ^^ always nice for friends and family XD.

I think the graphics of this game are really great. They are HD and beautifully made. Alright there are not a lot of images but the wood always looks like the image they wanted to achieve. And the trees are beautifully designed. Every tree gives you a different feeling and I think that is nice to see ;)

About the gameplay. Well it is an easy game to play, you only need your mouse ;) and steer the mouse to wrap the rope around the wood. The more percent you get the more flowers you get. You can get 3 flowers. There are different trees with different lvl’s and for every object you complete you get higher into the tree and eventually you can free another tree to play.

I think it is a game you should try before you have a verdict about it. Seriously I thought it was stupid before I played it.... but .... but... I got addicted 0.0 weeeee so addictive... and relaxing.. must ... stop... playing..

So I seriously hope you want to play this game cause it really deserves a chance.

Always remember me review

This is another game review.. But a little bit different because it is without a youtube video 0.0 ohw no how is that possible... yes it is... because it is a visual novel / simulation / dating sim game... And I just wanted to write a review rather then to talk about it.

Well about the story. The story is about a girl named Amy. She is really in love with her boyfriend Aaron and they are even engaged. But then the worst thing happens... After a great date they ride away on his motor bike.... but ... but ... they get in a car accident..  Amy only got a few bruises and nothing serious... But Aaron has a concussion and doesn’t remember her... He forgot al about her. And so the story begins... What should Amy do? Must she help him remember her? Or should she just move on.... The choice is up to you in this game.

Well I shall tell you a bit about the characters now shall I.

Amy,

You already know Amy, she is the heroin of this story. She loves to write and is really into poems, also she works part time in an ice cream shop.

Aaron,

He is engaged to Amy, but because of the accident he doesn’t remember a thing about it.. He doesn’t remember a lot actually... only little things or things which happened a while past.

Eddy,

Eddy is the doctor who takes care of Aaron. He helps Amy to get Aaron his memory back... and he informs Amy about Aaron his case. He is a really friendly person who always wants to help. He is also my favourite character out of the whole bunch.

Lawrence,

Lawrence is Amy her co-worker and helps her with her job at the ice cream shop. He is a really shy person but also really nice. He is really concerned about Amy and wants to help her.

Hugh,

He is a guy who always seems to be around.. Really weird actually. But he is one of my favourite characters ... after Eddy ^^ hihi. He runs a little clothing boutique and wants to be a designer... pretty cool for a guy I think. 

I think the drawings are really beautiful, they look like water color paintings. They really fit the mood of this dating sim game. The little amy characters (when you are working or doing things) look a little less detailed.. but that’s not too bad. It fits the feeling of the game and I think that is the most important part.

Well then the music. The theme song is really nice... but when I first started the game my music volume was a little bit too hard.... Yes... I had a mini heart attack.... Scary... 

But the music was nice ^^ .. And the music in game was also quit nice.. It was really relaxing and not annoying like the music in most games. 

The gameplay is really easy. You only have to use your mouse and the system which you increase your status is also easy. So you don’t have to be an advanced gamer to get this game.

You play through the dialogues and have to upgrade your status to get the guy you want. It is pretty simple. Even I can do it ... and I’m a koala 0.0 I mean seriously...
